I know that some of you desperately don't want this to happen for reasons that are completely immature and ridiculous, but only time will tell HOW much of a difference DX12 makes on PC/tablet, WP and XBO games. Looking at the difference between most early 360 and PS3 games to how they are now I can easily see a massive improvement that could possibly be called a 100% improvement. Seeing that what's being purported here is something beyond that typical 'getting to know the console' process that every console has, the improvements could be more significant. Is it really too much to ask for some optimism about the future of gaming from those that claim to be its biggest fans? |
certainly not. but lets not mistake optimism for blind foolishness. DX12 doubling XB1 performance? come on, give me a break and dont take people for fools. we might be less informed than others, but we arent completely uninformed.
