No, I'm not going to disrespect pro gamers, but they are no more "athletes" than professional poker players. For instance, I listen to a podcast called Nerd Poker where some comedians record themselves playing Dungeons and Dragons, if the barometer for "athletes" is "an audience watches/listens to them" I suppose they'd be athletes as well?
