You do know that poker is refered as sport because gambling is such a bad word to use. It is illegal for you to play at home, isn't it?

After huge debates, they decided to call it that. But no , poker isn't a sport. 

......I apologize before hand but who decided what wasn't a sport and what is. You might not consider it one but others do.

There are obective stuffs that it needs to have to be called a sport or a game. The ones that want poker to be cheap and unregulated will call it a sport, the ones that want to tax and regulate it will call it a game. It's all about interests in poker.
