There's a lot of information in this thread that I don't know if I believe and am not sure that I'd want to... thank you for that twesterm.
It was probably wrong of me to assume that a man was responsible for that mess without actually knowing but the toilet seat was up and the part below it was covered in urine. I felt pretty safe in my assumption.
