They should continue to support it and make it better. Better marketing, price-cuts, trying to get more indie and/or third party developers. Just continue and focus on the future(of Wii U). If it fails it fails, nothing more to it.
The PS3 had a horrible start, and I'm thankful that Sony really never stopped believing in their console. And continued to support it. So shall Nintendo do with the Wii U and I hope for the best.
