First of all, COD is finally on a decline and more and more things have been taking its place. Lots of my friends that lived for COD a few years ago have moved on to either Battlefield or Titanfall. Trust me, Titanfall didn't bomb and isn't going away. The foundation has been laid for an epic franchise. Once it goes multiplatform (which will happen for Titanfall 2), they will build a bigger game with more weapons, customization, etc. and all the other silly things the COD kiddies are crying for.
As for Destiny, this will also take people away from COD. This game launches just 2 months from the next COD. Unless people are hugely disappointed, and the game fails to live up to the expectations and hype, people that are into this game aren't going to buy MW4 or whatever reskin they launch this November.
Honestly, many will disagree with me, but Halo is dead. It started to decline with Reach and Halo 4 was an epic disappointment to loyal fans. The Halo fans follow Bungie and they will more likely be into the still secret competitive multiplayer aspect of Destiny.
