The problem with all the 3 Android devices I've owned is that they started off stable but gradually deteriorated into frequent crashing, freeze-ups, spontaneous reboots and all manner of assorted weirdness. No idea why that happens but I know other Android owners who have described the same. For a study like this to catch that, it would have to track the device over very long periods of time and I'm betting this study doesn't do that. By comparison, all the iOS devices I've owned have been solid.
