He cried because he didn't received a PS4 test unit that have a HDMI port without DHCP and just received a free PS4 retail unit... he felt depressed becasuse the industry (Sony) didn't left he do his job (lol)... you are tying to defense somebody without know what happened... same for the 1080p thing.
It is my opinion but for me the game journalist will be better without him... I wish better all best with what he will do now (he is creating a consultancy company).

He had every reason to complain about that (and he wasn't alone, many other Youtubers complained about it as well). When your livelyhood is making videos about games and a company puts a block on their console that prevents video footage from being recorded via a capture card (except through the PS4's share button which has length limitations and requires double compression if you want to put it on Youtube), you tend to get a little annoyed.

Or by using an HDMI splitter, which costs what 10$-20$? I guess he wasn't willing to spend 10 bucks to save his "livelyhood".
