I remember reading that the brain wave patterns of kids in their early teens isn't all that dissimilar from a sociopath (as in they don't feel empathy in the same way). It's just a part of the cycle of growing up, unfortunately it does lead to fights. The brain does not fully mature until the mid-20s.

This is a horrible result, but really c'mon, you guys are acting shocked like fights in school don't happen all the time. The school yard "after school" fight is practically a right of passage for a lot of kids.

This is just one instance where it unfortunately got out of control and the other thing with kids is they all grow at different rates, so the kid who did this probably was a lot bigger.

But spare me the "this generation" stuff, lol, school yard fights happened in the 40s/50s/60s/70s/80s/and sure as hell were going on when I was in junior high in the 90s.

Just because something has always been this way doesn't mean it's right....
