First, EA has nothing to do with Star Wars Battlefront games that are released previously. You better hope the new game, if that'll indeed happen, will be anywhere near decent.
Second, EA ruined SimCity beyond recovery abandoning everything the series stood for.
Third, to some others here, I am not a sheep. I most certainly have 'legit' reasons. Though, rest assured, I just ignore EA.
