General - Is there a god? - View Post

"Anyway if your going to say that God exists and that he created the universe you have to have some evidence because afterall the creation of the universe is about as sciency as science gets! "

This is what i'm talking about, Science is the study of Everything, and the Universe is Everything, so the Creation of the Universe is not Science but Nescience. The problem with Science and God is that most scientists don't acknowledge anything that isn't within Science, which eventually leads them to thinking that something that is part of the Universe, or the Universe itself created the Universe. That is the sole ignorant weakness that comes with Science, the loss of knowledge in Nescience. All things are physical or mental, but nothing is of the soul or spiritual. This is the ignorance brought up by modern Science, and it doesn't have to be that way.

As for the one who spoke about being open-minded, for me it was being open-minded that strengthed my resolve in Christ. First i looked at Animism and Shintoism, two religious beliefs that deal with everything being the work of spirits and random dieties. At first glance I thought of how foolish such a belief could be, but one day when i was thinking about life in general, a new thought came up in me. Why is it that I see Animism and Shintoism as foolish? I eventually came up into thinking that they were very intelligent thoughts, that came up out of Nescience. They thought up something that modern Science is incapable of understanding. They thought of the spiritual world, a realm within and "above" the Universe that works within and "above" the Universe. Was it foolish? No. It is beyond the understanding of modern scientists, therefore the scientists deem it as foolish, simply because they lack the knowledge to understand.

I realized that it was because of this, Science continues its attacks on Christianity. The scientists lack the mental capacity of understanding, so therefore they can only understand things that they can see. This is mental weakness. Because the scientists cannot understand Nescience, they disregard it as true, and search for ways to purge it from common knowledge calling whatever they think up as truth and everything else childish fantasies. Eventually the lead the world to a souless state that cannot understand the very simplest of all remedial miracles, which is Faith. Because of this they replace Faith with something called hope, which is something that they can understand because they are secretly doing it every day. Hope but not Faith.

This is what comes of being open-minded. But to be open-minded you must have a strong mind or else you'd be lost into what you should believe. You can be open-minded and still be a Christian. In fact it is in the best interest of the Christian for them to be open-minded. Being open-minded goes hand in hand with what my point is. THINKING. Something almost everyone (even scientists and priests) fails to do.
