Still undecided about Destiny of Spirits. Very good for being a free experience, but there's no story, no characters, combat is too simple, graphics are too flat. In the meantime, I'm playing also Valkirya Chronicles 3 on my PSP, which is exactly the opposite. |

I know SOME Japanese, but I don't consider myself fluent, yes.
The fantranslation, in the end, is very good and perfectly usable. Some minor text misallignment, some rare but indecisive typos, and encyclopedia and newspapers still untranslated (too bad for the background atmosphere, but they don't influence gamplay). The game itself is the best Valkyria ever (apart form the graphics that, obviously, excel in the PS3 episode) and an absolute masterpice. After you get absorbed into the story, the characters and the missions, you don't even notice the typos amymore. Can't say anything else without spoiling, but the plot is great, with a sort of anti-hero atmosphere, and the missions are complex.
