Well, at least it's better now that the PS3 actually gets ports in the first place. A year ago developers wouldn't even try...

That's what I'm thinking.  Developers were hinting at dropping the PS3 last year.  It will be interesting what they say a year from now.  I'm thinking they will love that Euro.  Now, it seems like they know they should support the PS3 if they want to make money.

Some of these articles sound very familiar to when the PS2 came out (I'm in no way saying the PS3 has the same market share as the PS2).  Many devs were not sure the PS2 would do the same as the PS1, and wanted Dreamcast or the future Xbox to be the better platform.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
