I played Infamous SS for a bit after finishing DS2, soon got bored from walking to the next cut scene and went back to DS2. I still had 2 optional bosses to defeat and Soul vortex to try out. With co-op helping other people to defeat bosses, and bonfire ascetics it didn't take very long to get int up to 64. I also farmed more twinkling titanite at shrine of Amana to get staff of wisdom to +5, infused with magic it's just shy of 300 attack.

Hendrick was doable now, I still got hit once, but instead of healing and dying what usually happens, I finished him off. With Soul vortex the fight wasn't too long to get hit again.

The ancient dragon turned out to be fairly easy. Since I had not engaged him yet, I could prepare right next to him, get all fire resists on, start with Climax hex and spam with soul vortex. By the time he got up he was already down to 60%. He leaves enough time to heal and I had enough fire resist to withstand a hit, so bye bye dragon.

All finished now, still don't feel like ng+, since I already did a lot of zones at ng+ and beyond. I have Aldia's keep at lvl 5 already. Bonfire ascetics is a nice idea but kinda ruin the purpose of ng+.

I reached the open world part of Infamous SS now, no more constant cutscenes. My DS2 addiction has broken. I'll play a HD remake of the first one if they decide to do one. Otherwise bring on DS3.
