Yeah, it's just a little light hearted ribbing, and even if they have offended anyone it's pretty much just fans of a system that they aren't making games for anyway.

See this thinking so so outdated. Most would own multiple consoles these days and pissing of any fanbase is impact their sales across all consoles.

Personally i don't mind if they continue to piss people off as they have run their franchises into the ground. NFS Battlfield, Sports games. All need to be rethinked and revamped.

not this specifically. In general when a company does stupid things that rub you the wrong way you don't give them the light of day no matter what consoles you own. 

This is EA remember.
As soon as *shiny new game title here* is released, peoples qualms about the company are all but forgotten. :P
...Untill they try to play said game at-least.

Still, I personally found it relatively humorous, you can't go on through life completely serious and it should have been taken as a joke, which many people hadn't.
