Sony Computer Entertainment Opens Chinese Department Among Organizational Changes
Today Sony Computer Entertainment announced with a press release that multiple organizational changes have been finalized at the company.
According to the press release, the Japanese Marketing Department has been Renamed Marketing and Communication Department, while the Management Department has been renamed to Planning and Management department.
More importantly, a China Strategy Department has been opened, under the leadership of corporate communications manager for Sony China Takehito Soeda.
The move probably heralds the beginning of an expansive move for the Japanese company in the Chinese market after the opening from the local government to the production and sale of foreign consoles in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone.
