Had a bit of time with my Vita so thought do a run down of three games spent enough time with and beaten to give impressions.

1. Gravity Rush - I owe Sony an apology for not playing this game sooner as it is one of the most unique and fun experiences I have had in gaming in years. With the concept it could have been a mess, but great controls, level design and camera work make for an exhilarating game topped with beautiful world, great characters and a compelling story. Even though I got it on PS+ I plan to go buy it simply to support such great games.

2. Tearaway - I cannot play this and not smile. Just a joy filled game with vibrant colors and a visual aesthetic that is jaw dropping. Even some control issues can detract from this game. The characters, the music and use of touch screen and camera left me feel, "We should have more games that make me feel this good". It is a shame that this failed in sales as it is an absolute gem.

3. Uncharted: GA - While scaled back compared to Uncharted 2 and 3, this entry still gives me what I enjoy about the series. Characters, platforming, puzzles, shooting and cinematic sections. The touch controls were a mixed bag, I liked the puzzles and rubbing, but not crazy about some of the QTE like moments and preferred to use buttons when ever I could. That said, a very solid entry in the series.

Overall the Vita has been an excellent purchase and looking forward to many other games. Still have Little Big Planet to play on it and expect my library to grow in the coming years.
