I hate April fools. Just another flimsy excuse for people to be dicks to each other. It's a completely wasted day because you cannot believe anything, not even the news. It makes the whole world less productive for a day so why not just give everyone a day off.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
