The PS4 was pretty hyped so when I got it, I was doomed to be disappointed. The Xbox One was getting trashed pretty hard so it turned out to be a better console than I expected. The only thing I have issue with is that the controller uses AA Batteries (I use rechageables and they haven't died yet...but still). It really is a well designed quality device. The interface that I was worried would be overly complicated was really simple. One screen for my favorite apps, one main screen. One screen on the right for....I can't remember. I never use it. The controller feels great in every way. The more people try it, the more they'll like it. |
This is what is so difficult to articulate on forums to people that don't own an Xbox One, and particularly only own a PS4.
Both consoles are a lot of fun, but the Xbox One just feels like a better experience at the moment.
This could easily change with more features and games - I fully expect both consoles to look very different in 2, 4 and 6 years.
