I'm sorry, but what a silly notion. So long as there are gamers who want to/enjoy taking their games on the go, which you cannot do with your home consoles, then there will be a market for portable systems. That's about as absurd as saying home consoles are becoming pointless. So long as gamers enjoy relaxing on their couch or in their bed, IE in the comfort of their home, and playing their games on a TV, often-times a large-screen TV.....yeah, there's going to be a market for that too.
