The opinion is not determined by sales, not even close. I thought this forum was over this subject years ago. Quality doesn't equal sales. Just because something sells well doesn't make it good.

Answer this question for me if you will. I've spent about...$300 on Call of Duty in past 5 years. I've spent about $100 on Metal Gear Solid in the past 5 years. Which do I value more based on the data I've provided for you; MGS or CoD?

Opinion IS determined by sales otherwise how else can we guage quality from a said product ?

It's quite clear that you value the call of duty series more ...

And that's where the problem lies. You think value = price. I value MGS ALOT more than CoD. CoD comes out every year MGS doesn't. I've spent more hours on MGS, had more enjoyment, am absolutely satisfied with all the MGS games that I have played in the past five years. CoD? I like picking it up and playing it every now and then but in no way would I choose CoD over MGS if I had to pick. I've spent more money on CoD, sure, but I'd rather play MGS. There is no game series I value more than MGS, I have put more time into it than I have any other game including CoD.

Would you like to change your answer?

Also, its official, CoD is the highest quality series since the inception of CoD 4: MW1. One day I hope TLoU, Uncharted, Zelda series, Metroid series, Mario Galaxy, GTA, Bioshock, Mass Effect or TES series will have as much quality as the CoD series...one day...
