You say 'value' and 'sold through' are the same thing but then turn around and say its impossible to quantify value among individuals. Well its not impossible to quantify the sales of individuals, in fact, its one of the main pruposes of this site. Sounds kind of conflicting but yeah, sure thing. Whatever reason you want to give to PS4 being the top selling hardware is a reason you believe in. I'm not going against that. I'm simply stating value and top selling are not the same thing.

Personally I think PS4 is the top selling because of how well Sony marketed the PS4 and how bad MS messed up in their marketing department.

Actually they are ... Defining value's through monetary lenses have little meaning to the term "value". However it is the market that decides what's more valuable in general and that in turn truly defines the meaning of "value". What the market thinks is more important than the price tag itself.

Ok. I'm not arguing importance. I'm simply stating that 'sales' and 'value' are not the same thing. Just because something sold more than another thing does not make it more valuable in the eyes of the consumer. You can generalize all you want but your going to get very mixed results.
