For your theory to work you have to admit that people who follow the Islam faith are shallow.
Your theory implies that they are the kind of people who judge hundreds of millions as a whole, and even decide to kill, because of a few hollywood films they have seen. That they don't even try to see if people in the states really act like "filth spewing" beings but would rather just judge them recklessly no matter if they're innocent or not. I don't know their reasons myself, but I would like to think that they have a reason deeper than Hollywood films.
Have you heard of the country the Philippines?
It is an archipelago nation devided into three parts whose religious populations are torn between Christians and Muslims.
2/3 Christians, majority of which are in Visayas and Luzon. 1/3 muslims, majority of the which is in Mindanao.
We'll even without the influence of Hollywood, Muslims still do suicide bombings in Visayas and Luzon.
When I asked a Muslim classmate why people do that, she told me that it's a way to go to their "heaven".
