I was thinking Borderlands and Torchlight should be there but they were both at the end of 2009. Kingdoms of Amalur probably should have been a series that continued on and would have done better with real support.
I guess there are less chances taken at the end of a generation.
As for Rage, it was somehow both good and generic. I can still imagine something being done with the IP.
