I actually hope they attack the vita. Sony needs to open their eyes and buy exclusives since persuading developers isnt working. MS does it and so does nintendo.
Sony know how to win the fair way, but they need to learn the cheap tactics for when they are losing like in the case of vita.

I'm not talking about individual opinions.

If Nintendo quality is so great then surely a lot more of the 100m wii owners would have returned for the wii U.... but its been over a year and less than 6m have.

Now I know youre going to blame everyone and everything else except the quality of its games, but its about time you accepted that if people really held high thoughts of nintendo games, they would return like the xbox and playstation fans did knowing there will be another halo or uncharted or any other exclusive they like.

Once again, im not talking about your opinion, im talking about the usebase of the wii and how its not 100m because of the quality of the games, but the novelty of the product that wore out after which people got bored and didnt see any point in having a second look at nintendo.

Look at my sig for the consistency of the playstation userbase despite all the competition its getting. People see it and think im bragging about sales, but the point of it is to show that Sony is not a one trick pony, and that they have been consistently dominating the industry by focusing on what matters to the core gamer who will be there now, the gen after that, and the gen after that. Not the ones who are spending money today but you might not see them again tomorrow. Then compare it with nintendo and look how their 'fans' buy some systems but not others.

There are really no excuses. Sony have proven that customers are willing to pay higher prices where they see value. They have proven that customers will buy inferior versions of multiplatforms. They have proven that sales can be maintained with word of mouth even when marketing efforts are rested. They have proven that developers can be persuaded to develop for complex hardware which they are not comfortable with.

If Sony can do it while they are supposed to be bankrupt within 2 years, why should nintendo be making excuses when they apprently have enough cash to last them many decades?

Anyway, If you truly believe the wii has the quality to attack the PS3 on games, then design an advert which you think would be effective, lets post it and watch the responses.
