On a related note, I went looking for a hard copy of MGSV yesterday and after two failed attempts at separate Targets on my way home from the office, I took the dog out for a walk (I live downtown) and walked her towards the GameStop located less than 10 minutes away. Naturally, they had a giant MGSV poster on a display stand so without asking if they minded I was bringing a dog into their store, I just asked if they had any copies for the PS4.
They did not, but the clerk behind the counter was helpful in checking inventory at other stores, checking re-order times, etc. and I just said "this is one of those if I can walk in and buy a copy I can walk home and play it tonight kind of things" and that I wanted a hard copy even though I can do the DD thing because MGS is one of the few franchises I care about collecting.
So helpful guy. Real nice.
Meanwhile, the two girls working there gushed over my dog, a black pug, as in overloaded on her cuteness. So I eventually let go of her leash and she started wandering all over the store and no said anything. And true story: one of the girls working there wanted to give me her hours so I could bring my pug back in when she was there.
So yeah; different experience. |
