I work with mobile devices every day. Android is absolutely not more stable than IOS. It's getting better but it's still got a lot of quarks that IOS simply doesn't have. It boils down to preference, but for the things I use my phone for, I'd prefer an Iphone hands down. (And I'm about as anti-apple) person as you'll find.
