Well, given that they also won't be making PS360 version, even with such a huge install base, they obviously think that downgrade through which the game must go in order to be put on those platforms would compomise too much their original vision.

But honestly, does it really matter what they have stated?

A while ago, in EG interview, folks from D.I.C.E. stated pretty much what you're saying - both tech and business side of things are what keeps them away from Wii U. Nevertheless, some of Nintendo fan(atic)s claimed that to be BS, and all sort of "lazy dev" stuff was all over the forum(s).

As someone who thinks that games like GTAV could be successfully ported (in some shape) even to PS2, given enough time and sales potential, I agree that it's (almost) never just the tech side. But it comes a time in every gen when devs just don't want to bother with another platforms that are not exactly at the  level they want them to be, and instead they focus on the ones that are.
