Obviously fanboys are a problem, and obviously it is annoying. I think people are aware of this, but the way you say your handling stuff really isnt any better. At the current moment i'd say youre a part of the problem. And the thing is you seem like a really smart guy but instead of making intelligent posts it seems youre more focused on getting a reaction out of people.

I find it therapeutic, so I've no intention of leaving.
And yes, I am a smart guy, Thank you for noticing however as I have mentioned to staff in the past while it's well within my capacity to post interesting and insightful threads, such threads are ignored almost completely in favor of consolepenis comparison and "joke" threads.

As such my desire to actually mitigate the nonsense and post something more intellectually engaging decreases with each passing day so the only possible use of these forums for me becomes the therapeutic nature of an unfiltered opinion.

Besides, as you well know, for me to fully convey my experience and produce factual, engaging threads I must leverage my personal experience, I know full well that doing so will result in accusations, "calling bullshit" and otherwise people with no real working knowledge of the topics I discuss attempting to tell me that I am wrong.

When it reaches such a situation the forums become an extension of my day to day work having to deal with other peoples poor taste, nonsense and egos.

To put it bluntly, it isn't worth it.
