Again. You can't sit in the pew of your church and not have this rub off on you in some form. Look at his wife, "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of America..." Can we say that her statement and her attendence of Trinity United Church are related? DEFINATELY! If she thinks this way, how does Obama think? Remember ALL Politicians are liars. |
I see you neatly sidestepped the point, ignoring it completely. Listen up - you can vote for McCain if you want. I'm not going to tell you that you can't, but don't fearmonger. Bush ran his campaign on fear. Dick Cheney IS the face of fear. Attack the issues, not the man, and you can't do that when all you do is spread fear and distrust over subjective qualities.
Anyone can take anything out of context, cherry pick from words to make them seem like something else.... which is exactly what I did in counterpoint to you, and I bet you didn't like it.
The only problem is, I really am concerned that John McCain wants a war against Islam, meaning continued war in Iraq AND Iran for the indefinite future, whether he actually believes the crap that pastor spews or not. I don't see John McCain as a fundie religious figure though, so it baffles me as to why he wants to continue the war.
I implore that you ignore the fearmongering from both Clinton and McCain, and just look at the heart of issues. If after looking at what these people stand for, the real ISSUES, and you still want to vote for them, then congratulations.. you have made an informed vote for the candidate that represents you.
But don't fearmonger. It's disgusting.
