This article focuses on the more obvious media streaming, however we all have read the rumors of Amazon game development plus game controller. Android does have a full gaming SDK now that Amazon would build off of as well.
So how do you think this will do? Ouya has a mediocre launch, but was recently pushed by the Amazon gold box deal and sold decently.
Another oddity is that almost all DVD/BR players, smart TVs, and of course your phones/tablets all have an amazon app to do the regular media stuff.
Why are they doing this device if it were not for a bigger push into more media options like games?
