If competition is so good then why do MS and nitendo fans hope sony go bankrupt?
Anyway, I disagree with you on innovations. Sony make the most innovations where the core market comes first. nintendo and MS are just trying to pocket money from casuals. Nintendo did it successfully with the wii (even then the casuals came and left within a generation), but thats about it. To respect that would be like respecting mobile or facebook games.... will never happen.
Criticising sony for sticking with the core market is a baseless argument.
