Competition is good! Stop wishing doom to Nintendo and Xbox.

OP I agree but this is a loss battle. To me only those who are affraid of competition try hard to eradicate it and yeah there's a lot of affraid people on the internet.

 

I'm very pleased with both Nintendo and Playstation's offerings and I just think the "Sony copies everything Nintendo" is getting tiring. The inspiration goes both ways and many of Nintendo's innovations are just refinements of existing products/technologies as well.

Eg. motion controlled gaming as you mentioned. I wonder where Nintendo found inspiration for big sellers like Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, etc...

 

Sony Nintendo and MS take inspiration from everywhere that's the thing. People are quick to say MS just bought Primesense technology but try hard to prove that Sony did everything by themselves like they were the first and only company to try new things. Seriously just like I said, review your history.

There are many gaming and technology companies around the world and a lot of the companies that come up with many technologies found in gaming are not gaming related. Motion controls using a camera has been tested long before even Nintendo came in the games industry. VR immersion was tested long before Playstation, in fact a lot of companies tested VR but most of them failed... to have tried the Oculus Rift I understand why and I'm about sure Sony's Morpheus will just be another "me too" attempt. Microsoft will come up with their idea, Apple, Samsung etc etc... 

Anyway... I can't blame you for not knowing, but not wanting to know and keeping the misinformation is why I laugh right now... all hail Sony!
