Now that the hype has died off, how good was GTA V in reality?

Lol a lot of hipster here claiming it's "mediocre" in terms of gameplay and recommending games like The Saboteur or Infamous over it.

As for me I enjoyed it a lot, it's the best open world ever created, very alive and with many things to explore, even the side missions, if not always great, are good for a laugh. The writing is great, very fun dialogs, the story is a bit cliched and underdeveloped, but I still appreciated it. At least I laughed a lot. The main missions offer a lot of variety and are clearly the best of its genre, but they can't reach the level of excellence of an Uncharted or God of War level.

I didn't like the MP but the SP alone is worth the full price, so the MP won't affect my score, which is:
