Actually, it looks like everyone here favors some sort of gun control. And no one is willing to go 100% with the Constitutional 2nd Admendment.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

How can I say that? Easy.

Ignore the first half of the admendment, as many do, it boils down to "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

It doesn't say you have to take a test and pass it. It mentions nothing about getting any training. Nothing about age, mental stability or criminal behavior (as in already in jail).
It says if you are people, you can keep a weapon.

Anybody willing to go along completely with that? No? Neither am I. So now it is just a matter of how much gun control we have, isn't it?

But even if you did go along with complete freedom of any arms under the 2nd admendment, I don't suppose you would allow me the option of having my own personal tactical nuc as my arms to bear. Talk about respect. Note how not one country has officially attacked another country that has nuclear arms. 'Officially' meaning with full combat of their military. Been that way now for over 60 years. That's a better record than either full gun control or no gun control.

Torturing the numbers.  Hear them scream.
