From their last quarter results. What we can see is that the biggest lost is coming from Devices/Vaio laptops luckely Sony got rid of that. It's start looking good!

While it's starting to look better for Sony, that wasn't quite the topic here =) IF playstation branched off, how would that effect playstation? This has nothing to do with Sony's economical situation, it's all speculation as to what would happen.
