With all this VR talk should nintendo develop a Virtual Boy 2?

Well, the (idea of the) Virtual Boy was ahead of its time and thus the product wasn't really suited for the mass market, which resulted in the problems it had. I also heard that Yokoi, who invented the thing, didn't want it to be made in the state it was in, but Nintendo pushed forward anyway. And there were some other big mistakes made by Nintendo (relating the system to their portable line when it really isn't portable, or not having a headstrap, for example).

A "Virtual Boy 2" would only be a Virtual Boy in name, since technology has come so far since then. I think the idea is not the worst of all, though I'm not sure if the VR thing will catch on as much and as quickly as some people think. I vote for yes, though.

To be honest, I had a lot of fun with it, its just hard on the eyes, with the dark black and bright red for a few hours will blind you for a moment when you take it off. I always used it on the virtual boy stand on my computer desk and it was comfy enough.
