And then you throw Facebook into the mix with the giant cash backing and it probably doesn't make sense any more. Nintendo is not good at playing catch up. In hindsight I think if Nintendo knew back in 2010/11 that the Wii U was going to be such a dud, they probably would have explored the idea of VR more back then. It certainly would have instantly made their system stand apart from anything else on the market for a minimum of 3 years. |
I don't know. Hasn't Nintendo almost always played catch up? Most of their home consoles a year or more after the competition main competition.
