1. Not to that extreme. You literally do the exact same things in the exact same order.
2-4. With a game that was meant as a sequel to another game, I think there is a point in doing so. There haven't been contradictions to this extent in the Zelda Universe before.
5. Like I said, it doesn't bother me as much, but it just reminded me of Phantom Hourglass....and I shiver at the thought.
