For the platforms I had last generation ( since there are too many to choose from I’m having a run up for each).

 

PC

Winner: Dust: An Elysian Tail.

Runner up: The Banner Saga.

 

Xbox 360

Winner: Blue Dragon.

Runner up: Dragons Dogma.

 

Wii

Winner: Monster Hunter Tri.

Runner up: Xenoblade Chronicle’s.

 

PSP

Winner: kingdom hearts birth by sleep.

Runner up: final fantasy 7 crisis core.

 

DS (this is a particularly hard one).

Winner: World Ends With You.

Runner up: Ni No Kuni.

 

Honourable Mentions: Monster Hunter Freedom series, Borderlands series, Tales Of series, Mass Effect 1, Lost Odyssey and Golden Sun Dark Dawn.
