A friend of mine worships this game. He says that it is the best Castlevania ever.
...he also likes Castlevania 64, but still.
Awesome review, and glad to see that unlike the other game, you can switch between characters here. Also, impressive score considering your equation. I seriously need to sit down and play through an old-school Castlevania game. I've only played Lords of Shadows, but that ain't the taste of most Castlevania hardcore fans, and certainly it is a departure from the traditional Castlevania style.
Is it Aria of Sorrow recommended then for a first-timer like me?
