Mind you I have no problem with a game needing you to play 100 hours for you to see every little upgrades it has to offer, the problem is with the game breaking transactions, they clearly expect people to buy virtual "goods" to save time... Why offer to save this time, shouldn't playing the game and building your fleet/upgrading ships be the game? Otherwise, if it's like a competitive fps, the everyone should have at least access to the same equipment, you know, so no one can buy the victory... This is just not fair game, I wonder why people embark in this. |
Aye. 100 hours to get the best possible equipment and items in a game is very understandable, and I would even go as far as to say that I like it that way, it makes the game more fulfilling. Having ships selling for hundreds of real-life dollars is despicable, and taking away a person's ship (which could be worth hundreds of dollars) when it crashes (and you don't have/can't afford the insurance), and making them grind out another 100-200+ hours or fork up $300+ cash to rebuy the ship (not even counting upgrades) is just stupid and greedy.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
