I played the 360 version and I don't recall significant slow downs. However, the frame rate did feel sluggish.

I wish Sega put Sonic games in the hands of better developers.

i never got the sluggish feeling and i could count on one hand how many times the game actually slowed down. Shame about the PC version i was going to buy it again for the PC, but im not so sure now.
