Look at my avatar. Now think back to when 3DS was first released. There's your answer.
Of course, it's definitely worth it to anyone to get the 3DS. Price is pretty nice, especially for what you get. The 3DS doesn't just have games, it has the best games of any handheld ever. I've had more fun with my 3DS than any other handheld, Nintendo or otherwise, and I don't even have half of the games I wanted to get yet.
