The decline is already happening, sure America will likely remain relevant for a long time but it won't be able to maintain the army that it has now. But really, the US will be no different to any major power in history, it will likely fall to a war like Britain and France or like Rome or the Soviet Union, collapse under the weight of it's own ineffiencensies and contradictions. Many then, the US will have it's own 'Japan 1945' moment when it gets destroyed in a war for the first time. Who knows?
