I for one have been extremely irritated by how slow they've been. Last gen versions have been holding back titles with serious next gen potential. Those games will never be all they could be, because they don't want to make too much of a difference between versions, so the gimped last gen version brings down the next gen version. It didn't used to be like this. You didn't see this happen much in previous gens. Now it's almost every game at launch, and several after launch. At the same time, after all this time developing cross gen, the switch did seem to come from nowhere for no reason other than that it was overdue. Leaves me wondering why they didn't just do it in the first place. They switched right away with some very slow selling new systems before, why not make the switch right away for the two biggest launching consoles ever? Makes no sense, and holds gaming back.
