The two cliffs with MAN and GOD with a pit in between called SIN is the best description. Jesus and the cross is the bridge.
And no the bible was not written by some guy. It was not made by a bunch of guys in some room. It was written over a very long time by different people. A man called Jesus truly walked this Earth as well. Look up something called reasonable certainty. I heard about it in a sermon once.
