You may want to play on hard mode if you find it too easy or boring in some way.
I was personally impressed by the acting and how the story plays out so far, which is doubly surprising since I never caught on the previous games in the series... and what I saw in the demos seemed rather unsurprising.
Plus, once you get into the action the game does not interfere too much with cut scenes, etc. which is always a plus in my book.
