It is all personal taste, and metacritic is garbage. The amount of fanboys that do reviews are ridiculous. Research the games, ignore hype, play what you want unless you learn to read between the lines.
Remember 50 meta reviews are just the opinion of 50 average people with the only difference from the rest of us being that they get early access to games and rush through them for a deadline. I used to do reviews, I know.
Both sides have something to offer, just play what you want and be happy. These games were meant to be enjoyed, not argued about based on a damn number.
