I wonder how many of the people who voted for Monsanto are conspiracy loons who think the company is out to poison the world for teh evulz. Because killing off your customers makes perfect business sense. *rolls eyes* That's not to say that Monsanto has never done anything worthy of scorn or criticism, but it seems like 99% of the anti-Monsanto rhetoric seems to be a bunch of scientifically baseless claims about GMOs and glyphosate. Instead of focusing on things that Monsanto does that might actually be worthy of criticism, most of their critics seem content on doing things like trotting out the discredited Seralini study and generally acting like a bunch of Mercola/Mike Adams drones.

Their GMO seeds work so that people use less pesticides, allowing farmers to produce food more cheaply.  I would wager that this is a moral dillema between those who want people to have cheaper food and be able to eat more vs those wanting cleaner foods that aren't altered.  The people saying that the third world countries hate monsanto are full of it, it's just another company to buy product from.
